I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye pass over the Jordan to possess it: ye shall not prolong your days on it, but shall be utterly destroyed.

io chiamo oggi a testimoniare contro di voi il cielo e la terra, che voi presto scomparirete completamente dal paese di cui andate a prendere possesso attraversando il Giordano. Voi non prolungherete in esso i vostri giorni, ma sarete interamente distrutti.
