t hen the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he hath humbled her; he may not put her away all his days.

bărbatul care s-a culcat cu ea, să plătească tatălui fetei cincizeci de şecheli de argint. Ea să rămână soţia lui, pentru că a necinstit-o, iar el nu va putea s-o izgonească toată viaţa lui.
