a nd the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man as wife, and he hates her;

وَيَقُولُ أبُو الفَتاةِ لِلشُّيُوخِ: ‹أعطَيتُ ابْنَتِي لِهَذا الرَّجُلِ زَوجَةً لَهُ، لَكِنَّهُ كَرِهَها.
