I f, after the manner of man, I have fought with beasts in Ephesus, what is the profit to me if dead do not rise? let us eat and drink; for to-morrow we die.

Ако, по човешки казано, съм се борил със зверове в Ефес, какво ме ползва? Ако мъртвите не се възкресяват, "нека ядем и пием, защото утре ще умрем".
