a nd the ignoble things of the world, and the despised, has God chosen, things that are not, that he may annul the things that are;

اختارَ اللهُ ما هُوَ وَضِيعٌ وَمُحتَقَرٌ فِي العالَمِ، وَاخْتارَ «الَّلاشَيءَ» لِكَي يَقضِيَ عَلَى ما هُوَ «شَيءٌ.»
