A nd Paul having gathered a quantity of sticks together in a bundle and laid on the fire, a viper coming out from the heat seized his hand.

وَجَمَعَ بُولُسُ كَومَةً مِنَ العِصِيِّ، وَراحَ يَضَعُها عَلَى النّارِ. فَخَرَجَتْ أفعَى سامَّةٌ بِسَبَبِ الحَرِّ، وَالتَفَّتْ عَلَى يَدِهِ.
