B rethren, let it be allowed to speak with freedom to you concerning the patriarch David, that he has both died and been buried, and his monument is amongst us unto this day.

«أيُّها الإخوَةُ، يُمكِنُنِي أنْ أقُولُ لَكُمْ بِكُلِّ ثِقَةٍ عَنْ أبِينا داوُدَ، بِأنَّهُ قَدْ ماتَ وَدُفِنَ، وَقَبرُهُ مَوجُودٌ هُنا عِندَنا إلَى هَذا اليَومِ.
