p ious, and fearing God with all his house, giving much alms to the people, and supplicating God continually,

كانَ كَرنِيليُوسُ تَقِيّاً يَخافُ اللهَ هُوَ وَعائِلَتُهُ كُلُّها، وَكانَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِسَخاءٍ عَلَى الفُقَراءِ، وَيُصَلِّي إلَى اللهِ دائِماً.
