A nd it was known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that that field was called in their own dialect Aceldama; that is, field of blood.)

وَذاعَتْ هَذِهِ الحادِثَةُ بَينَ كُلِّ سُكّانِ القُدسِ، فَصارَ ذَلِكَ الحَقلُ يُدعَى فِي لُغَتِهِمْ ‹حَقلَ دَما› – وَيَعنِي ‹حَقلَ دَمْ.›»
