P ilate therefore, having heard these words, led Jesus out and sat down upon judgment-seat, at a place called Pavement, but in Hebrew Gabbatha;

Pilatos, pois, quando ouviu isto, trouxe Jesus para fora e sentou-se no tribunal, no lugar chamado Pavimento, e em hebraico Gabatá.
