B ut ye have a custom that I release one to you at the passover; will ye therefore that I release unto you the king of the Jews?

وَلَقَدِ اعتَدتُمْ أنْ أُخلِيَ لَكُمْ سَبِيلَ أحَدِ السُّجَناءِ فِي عِيْدِ الفِصْحِ. فَهَلْ تُرِيْدُونَ أنْ أُخلِيَ سَبِيلَ مَلِكِ اليَهُودِ؟»
