John 18:37 ~ Giovanni 18:37

P ilate therefore said to him, Thou art then a king? Jesus answered, Thou sayest, that I am a king. I have been born for this, and for this I have come into the world, that I might bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.

Allora Pilato gli disse: «Ma dunque, sei tu re?» Gesù rispose: «Tu lo dici, sono re; io sono nato per questo e per questo sono venuto nel mondo: per testimoniare della verità. Chiunque è dalla verità ascolta la mia voce».
