a nd we indeed justly, for we receive the just recompense of what we have done; but this has done nothing amiss.

أمّا عُقُوبَتُنا فَلَها ما يُبَرِّرهاُ، إذْ أنَّنا نَنالُ ما نَستَحِقُّهُ جَزاءَ ما فَعَلناهُ. أمّا هَذا الرَّجُلُ، فَلَمْ يَفعَلْ شَيئاً خاطِئاً.»
