N ow the feast of unleavened bread, which called the passover, drew nigh,

وَكانَ قَدِ اقتَرَبَ عِيدُ الخُبزِ غَيرِ المُختَمِرِ الَّذِي يُطلَقُ عَليهِ اسْمُ عِيدِ الفِصحِ أيضاً.
