t hey ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed all;

إذْ كانَ النّاسُ يَأكُلُونَ وَيَشرَبُونَ وَيَتَزَوَّجُونَ وَيُزَوِّجونَ بَناتِهِمْ حَتَّى ذَلِكَ اليَومِ الَّذِي دَخَلَ فِيهِ نُوحُ السَّفِينَةَ، ثُمَّ جاءَ الفَيَضانُ وَأهلَكَهُمْ جَمِيعاً.
