N ow Jesus having been born in Bethlehem of Judaea, in the days of Herod the king, behold magi from the east arrived at Jerusalem, saying,

وَلَمّا وُلِدَ يَسُوعُ فِي مَدِينَةِ بَيتَ لَحْمَ فِي إقلِيمِ اليَهُودِيَّةِ فِي أيّامِ حُكْمِ المَلِكِ هِيرُودُسَ، جاءَ بَعْضُ الحُكَماءِ مِنَ الشَّرْقِ إلَى مَدِينَةِ القُدْسِ،
