A fter the number of the days in which ye have searched out the land, forty days, each day for a year shall ye bear your iniquities forty years, and ye shall know mine estrangement.

In base al numero dei giorni che avete impiegato ad esplorare il paese, cioè quaranta giorni, per ogni giorno porterete la vostra colpa un anno, per un totale di quarant'anni; e voi conoscerete cosa sia l'essermi ritirato da voi.
