A nd unto the people shalt thou say, Hallow yourselves for to-morrow, and ye shall eat flesh; for ye have wept in the ears of Jehovah, saying, Who will give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt; and Jehovah will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

Să spui poporului: „Sfinţiţi-vă pentru ziua de mâine; veţi mânca şi carne, pentru că v-aţi plâns în auzul Domnului, spunând: «Cine ne va da carne să mâncăm? Ne era mai bine în Egipt.» De aceea Domnul vă va da carne să mâncaţi.
