Malachi 1:6 ~ Maleahi 1:6

A son honoureth father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith Jehovah of hosts unto you, priests, that despise my name. But ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

„Un fiu îl cinsteşte pe tatăl său şi un sclav dă cinste stăpânului său. Dacă sunt Tată, unde este cinstea care Mi se cuvine? Şi dacă sunt Stăpân, unde este teama faţă de Mine? vă spune Domnul Oştirilor vouă, preoţilor, care dispreţuiţi Numele Meu. Voi însă spuneţi: «Cum Ţi-am dispreţuit noi Numele?»
