B e ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets cried, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings; but they did not hearken nor attend unto me, saith Jehovah.

‘No seáis como vuestros padres, a quienes los antiguos profetas proclamaron, diciendo: “Así dice el Señor de los ejércitos: ‘Volveos ahora de vuestros malos caminos y de vuestras malas obras.’” Pero no me escucharon ni me hicieron caso ’ —declara el Señor.
