S eventy weeks are apportioned out upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to close the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make expiation for iniquity, and to bring in the righteousness of the ages, and to seal the vision and prophet, and to anoint the holy of holies.

Setenta semanas han sido decretadas sobre tu pueblo y sobre tu santa ciudad, para poner fin a la transgresión, para terminar con el pecado, para expiar la iniquidad, para traer justicia eterna, para sellar la visión y la profecía, y para ungir el lugar santísimo.
