f orasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and solving of problems, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

porquanto se achou neste Daniel um espírito excelente, e conhecimento e entendimento para interpretar sonhos, explicar enigmas e resolver dúvidas, ao qual o rei pôs o nome de Beltessazar. Chame-se, pois, agora Daniel, e ele dará a interpretação.
