T he Chaldeans answered before the king and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter; therefore there is no king, however great and powerful, that hath asked such a thing of any scribe, or magician, or Chaldean.

I Caldei risposero al re e dissero: «Non c’è uomo sulla terra che possa dire ciò che il re domanda; così non c’è mai stato re, per grande e potente che fosse, che abbia domandato una cosa simile a un mago, o incantatore, o Caldeo.
