A nd I will make the land a desolation and an astonishment, and the pride of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolated, so that none shall pass through.

Io ridurrò il paese in una desolazione, in un deserto; l’orgoglio della sua forza finirà, e i monti d’Israele saranno così desolati, al punto che nessuno vi passerà più.
