S on of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou, who sealest up the measure of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty,

Fiul omului, fă un cîntec de jale asupra împăratului Tirului, şi spune -i:, Aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu: ajunsesei la cea mai înaltă desăvîrşire, erai plin de înţelepciune, şi desăvîrşit în frumuseţă.
