T hey give rewards to all harlots; but thou gavest thy rewards to all thy lovers, and rewardedst them, that they might come unto thee on every side for thy whoredoms.

Men give gifts to all harlots, but you give your gifts to all your lovers and hire them, bribing, that they may come to you on every side for your harlotries (your idolatrous unfaithfulnesses to God).
