A nd behold, I stretched out my hand over thee, and diminished thine appointed portion; and I gave thee over unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who were confounded at thy lewd way.

Perciò, ecco, io ho steso la mia mano contro di te, ho diminuito la razione che ti avevo fissata e ti ho abbandonata in balìa delle figlie dei Filistei, che ti odiano e hanno vergogna della tua condotta scellerata.
