S on of man, when a land sinneth against me by working unfaithfulness, and I stretch out my hand upon it, and break the staff of the bread thereof, and send famine upon it, and cut off man and beast from it;

«Figlio d'uomo, se un paese pecca contro di me essendo ripetutamente infedele, io stenderò la mia mano contro di lui, gli spezzerò il sostegno del pane, gli manderò contro la fame e ne sterminerò uomini e bestie.
