J ehovah hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out the line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying; and he hath made the rampart and the wall to lament: they languish together.

El Señor decidió destruir las murallas de la bella ciudad de Sión; con el nivel en la mano, no desistió de su plan de destrucción; entre lamentos, el muro y el antemuro fueron juntamente destruidos.
