Lamentations 2:1 ~ Plângeri 2:1

H ow hath the Lord in his anger covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud! He hath cast down from the heavens unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger.

Cum a acoperit-o Stăpânul, cu norul mâniei Lui, pe fiica Sionului! A aruncat măreţia lui Israel din cer pe pământ. În ziua mâniei Lui nu Şi-a mai adus aminte de aşternutul picioarelor Sale.
