A nd it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem; and they encamped against it, and built turrets against it round about.

Por eso, a los diez días del mes décimo del noveno año de su reinado vino el rey Nabucodonosor de Babilonia con todo su ejército, y atacó a Jerusalén. Acamparon contra ella, y por todas partes levantaron baluartes para atacarla.
