B ehold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of the Jordan against the strong habitation; for I will make him suddenly run away from it; and who is a chosen whom I may appoint over her? For who is like me? and who will assign me a time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?

Iată, ca un leu care vine din desişul Iordanului împotriva unui staul trainic, aşa Mă voi repezi şi-l voi pune pe fugă din locul unde este. Cine este cel ales de Mine ca să facă aceasta? Cine este ca Mine şi cine Mă va înfrunta? Ce păstor Îmi poate sta împotrivă?
