A nd joy and gladness is taken away from the fruitful field and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: they shall no more tread with shouting; the shouting shall be no shouting.

La gioia e l'allegrezza sono scomparse dalla fertile campagna e dal paese di Moab; ho fatto scomparire il vino dai tini, nessuno piú pigia con grida di gioia. Le loro grida non sono piú grida di gioia.
