C ome down from glory and sit in the drought, O inhabitress, daughter of Dibon; the spoiler of Moab is come up against thee, thy strongholds hath he destroyed.

Desce da tua glória, e senta-te no pó, ó moradora, filha de Dibom; porque o destruidor de Moabe subiu contra ti, e desfez as tuas fortalezas.
