b ut we will certainly do every word that is gone forth out of our mouth, to burn incense to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out drink-offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and we had plenty of bread, and were well, and saw no evil.

sino que ciertamente pondremos por obra toda palabra que ha salido de nuestra boca, para ofrecer incienso a la reina del cielo y derramarle libaciones, como hemos hecho nosotros y nuestros padres, nuestros reyes y nuestros jefes, en las ciudades de Judá y en las plazas de Jerusalén. Entonces tuvimos abundancia de pan, fuimos felices y no vimos mal alguno.
