A nd when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the guard was there whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he laid hold on the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Thou art deserting to the Chaldeans.

pero sucedió que, al llegar a la puerta de Benjamín, estaba allí un capitán llamado Irías hijo de Selemías, hijo de Jananías, el cual tomó preso al profeta Jeremías con el pretexto de que éste se estaba pasando al bando de los caldeos.
