A nd now therefore Jehovah, the God of Israel, saith thus concerning this city, whereof ye say, It hath been given over into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence:

«وَلِذَلِكَ هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ ، إلَهُ إسْرائِيلَ، لِهَذِهِ المَدِينَةِ، الَّتِي تَقُولُونَ عَنها بِأنَّها أُسلِمَتْ لِيَدِ مَلِكِ بابِلَ بِالحَربِ وَالمَجاعَةِ وَالوَباءِ:
