T he priests said not, Where is Jehovah? and they that handled the law knew me not; and the shepherds transgressed against me; and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after do not profit.

Jamás dijeron los sacerdotes: “¿Dónde está el Señor?”, ni tampoco los que detentaban la ley me conocieron; los guías del pueblo se rebelaron contra mí; ¡los profetas hablaron en nombre de Baal, y se fueron en pos de dioses inútiles!
