F or of old thou hast broken thy yoke, burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not serve. For upon every high hill, and under every green tree, thou bowest down, playing the harlot.

Deşi, demult, ţi-am sfărâmat jugul şi ţi-am smuls legăturile, totuşi tu ai zis că nu-Mi vei mai sluji. Pe orice deal înalt şi sub orice copac verde te-ai întins ca o prostituată.
