F or my people hath forgotten me: they burn incense to vanity; and they have caused them to stumble in their ways, the ancient paths, to walk in by-paths of a way not cast up;

Contudo, o meu povo esqueceu-se de mim: queimam incenso a ídolos inúteis, que os fazem tropeçar em seus caminhos e nas antigas veredas, para que andem em desvios, em estradas não aterradas.
