T hus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him—and I will loose the loins of kings; to open before him the two-leaved doors, and the gates shall not be shut:

Così parla il Signore al suo unto, a Ciro, che io ho preso per la destra per atterrare davanti a lui le nazioni, per sciogliere le cinture ai fianchi dei re, per aprire davanti a lui le porte, in modo che nessuna gli resti chiusa.
