B ehold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all countries, destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?

لا بُدَّ أنَّكَ سَمِعْتَ بِما فَعَلَهُ مُلُوكُ أشُّورَ بِكُلِّ البُلْدانِ الأُخْرَى، وَكَيفَ أنَّهُمْ دَمَّرُوها تَدمِيراً! فَكَيفَ تَتَوَهَّمُ أنَّكَ سَتَنْجُو؟
