T hen I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that it had cost me to do; and behold, all was vanity and pursuit of the wind, and there was no profit under the sun.

Miré yo luego todas las obras que habían hecho mis manos, y el trabajo que tomé para hacerlas; y he aquí, todo era vanidad y perseguir el viento, y sin sacar provecho debajo del sol.
