A nd the cherubim spread out wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat; and their faces were opposite to one another: the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy-seat.

Los querubines tenían sus alas extendidas por encima, y con ellas cubrían el propiciatorio; colocados uno frente al otro, sus rostros miraban hacia el propiciatorio.
