k eeping mercy unto thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but by no means clearing; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, upon the third and upon the fourth.

keeping loving-kindness for thousands, forgiving wrong-doing and sin. But He will not let the guilty go without being punished. He brings the sin of fathers down upon the children, even the great-grandchildren.”
