B ut the firstling of an ass thou shalt ransom with a lamb; and if thou ransom not, then shalt thou break its neck. All the first-born of thy sons thou shalt ransom; and none shall appear before me empty.

Pero rescatarás con cordero el primogénito del asno; y si no lo rescatas, quebrarás su cerviz. Rescatarás todo primogénito de tus hijos; y ninguno se presentará delante de mí con las manos vacías.
