Exodus 32:1 ~ Éxodo 32:1

A nd when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people collected together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us a god, who will go before us; for this Moses, the man that has brought us up out of the land of Egypt,—we do not know what is become of him!

Cuando el pueblo vio que Moisés tardaba en bajar del monte, la gente se congregó alrededor de Aarón, y le dijeron: Levántate, haznos un dios que vaya delante de nosotros; en cuanto a este Moisés, el hombre que nos sacó de la tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le haya acontecido.
