A nd the cherubim shall stretch out wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

E i cherubini avranno le ali spiegate in alto, in modo da coprire il propiziatorio con le loro ali; saranno rivolti l'uno verso l'altro, mentre le facce dei cherubini saranno volte verso il propiziatorio.
