A nd Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two door-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come into your houses to smite.

pentru că Domnul va trece să-i lovească pe egipteni. Când va vedea sângele pe pragul de sus şi pe cei doi uşori, Domnul va trece pe lângă acea uşă şi nu va lăsa pe nimicitorul să intre în casele voastre şi să vă ia viaţa.
