L et the stars of its twilight be dark; let it wait for light, and have none, neither let it see the eyelids of the dawn:

لَيْتَ نَجمَةَ الصُّبحِ لَمْ تُشرِقْ فِي ذَلِكَ اليَومِ، وَلَيْتَ اللَّيلَ انتَظَرَ النُّورَ فَلَمْ يَأتِ. لَيْتَها لَمْ تَرَ خُيُوطَ الشَّمسِ الأُولَى.
